LECTURES

Lectures in the parishes are the best way to engage with people and motivate them to study the Scriptures and Tradition of the Orthodox Church.
It is important to encourage the faithful to participate in the Worship of the Church which is the interpretation of the Scriptures par excellence.
St. Justin of Celije explains: “By reading the Bible you are adding yeast to the dough of your soul and body, which gradually expands and fills the soul until it has thoroughly permeated it and makes it rise with the truth and righteousness.” This process is the loving process of deep change that affects the soul and body.
I presented at many parishes and religious organizations on different topics. My method is a method of “Churched Interpretation”. This includes Orthodox Christian view on the Holy Trinity, Divine Inspiration of the Holy Scriptures, engagement with the original text, Patristic interpretation, use of the Scriptures in the Worship and Iconography, and the re-enactment of the biblical truth – the Imitation of Christ in the Church – recognizing the Image of God in one another.
